LIMITATIONS OF THE BOHR MODEL: A DEEPER LOOK

While groundbreaking for its time, the Bohr model had several shortcomings that ultimately became its overthrow. One primary limitation was its inability to precisely predict the lines of multi-electron atoms. The model also failed to explain phenomena like quantumjumps. Furthermore, its deterministic nature clashed with the inherent uncertain aspe
